Other options that don’t involve the internet
Every route has an alternative and so does cloud applications. Despite the fact that installing the application is an only alternative to cloud computing, there are many different ways to do so. One way to install an application is by downloading it from the internet either buy purchasing it from a website or by buying a voucher from the store that sells softwares and then entering the voucher key online and installing the application. This is convenient since you can install the application on a device that does not have a CD/DVD drive. However, there is a chance that, while downloading the application from internet, a virus might attach your device and corrupt data stored on it, also the software can’t be shared with others.
Another way of installing an application is by purchasing a CD that contains the application/software. This is safer than the other method since there is less change of a virus affecting the device. On the other hand, this way is only applicable for devices that have CD/DVD drives, and again the software can’t be shared with others.
