Other options that don’t involve the internet
If you don’t have internet connection, don’t worry because online banking has other offline alternatives. One of these offline alternative is visiting ATM machines. ATM machines are telecommunication devices that enable users to conduct financial transactions, change password, view their balances and deposit/withdraw money. ATMs are available in banks, in malls and even in streets which makes them efficient for banking services/activities. The feature that makes people use ATMs is that they can withdraw or deposit cash, also some ATMs allow its users to pay bills by cash. However online banking is better since it can be accessed any where at any time and you can apply for a loan unlike ATMs.
Moreover, telephone banking is another offline alternative. You simply call the bank and an operator will ask you to enter your bank account number, then the operator will ask you to pick a service for example, press 1 if you want customer service, press 2 if you want to apply for a loan and so on. Although this process sounds convenient since the operator will transfer you to an actual employee unlike online banking where there is no personal interaction, you have to pay expensive phone bills.
