Other options that don’t involve the internet
Unfortunately, or rather fortunately, online shopping has non-internet alternatives; one of these alternatives is traditional shopping. It might seem like a fuss to get dressed appropriately, wait in queues and look for parking but it is worth it. Traditional shopping means going to the store to see the product and try it. For example, you want to buy a perfume, it would be better to physically go and buy it from the store so you can smell the scent. However, if you were shopping online you can’t and maybe the sent of the perfume you ordered doesn’t suit you. Also, if you want to buy shoes or clothes, it will be difficult to determine your size without actually trying it on and making sure it is comfortable. Traditional shopping is a great way to meet with friends and have fun. Also physically shopping is more secure since there is less change of identity theft and hackers, yet there is always a possibility that a theft steals your wallet or purse while walking in the mall.
Another alternative is shopping by telephone. You can call the store and talk with the salesperson, he/she will describe their new collections and inform you if they have a sale or a promotion. At the same time, you can describe the product you want. This method of shopping is the less efficient because you still can’t see the product, and there can be misunderstandings between the salesperson and you, therefore you will waste time and money.
